Kodava Matrimony is a private, verified matrimony platform for the Kodava community, operated by Kodava Matrimony. By creating an account, uploading a profile, or otherwise using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
1. Who can use Kodava Matrimony
You must be at least 18 years old and legally competent to enter into a marriage under applicable Indian law. You must be single, or legally separated or divorced. You must represent yourself honestly and use only your own identity, photos, and family details.
2. Your account
- You are responsible for keeping your email address, password, and any device that stays signed in secure. Do not share your credentials with anyone.
- You must complete the identity verification we ask for before you can send interests or messages. We may pause or suspend accounts that skip verification.
- You may pause or delete your account at any time from the Settings page. Deletion is soft for 30 days and then permanent.
3. Membership and payments
- Some features require an active paid membership. Pricing, features, and duration are listed on the Payment page and inside your Subscription section.
- Payments are collected through UPI or bank transfer and manually approved by our team. Approval typically completes within 24 hours on business days.
- Memberships do not auto-renew. When your term ends you may renew manually from your Subscription page.
- Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
4. Community conduct
Kodava Matrimony exists for genuine matrimony introductions between Kodava families. You agree to abide by our Community Guidelines. In particular, do not create fake profiles, impersonate anyone, share explicit content, harass other members, or use the service for commercial solicitation.
5. Content you upload
You keep ownership of the photos, family details, and messages you submit. You grant Kodava Matrimony a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to store, transmit, and display that content to the specific members you have authorised (through your privacy settings and connection acceptances) and to our moderation team for the purpose of running the service.
6. Verification, blocking, and moderation
- We verify identity documents to reduce fraud. Verification decisions are made in good faith by our moderation team; we may ask you to resubmit.
- Any member may block or report another. Reports are reviewed and may result in warnings, temporary suspension, or permanent removal.
- We may remove profiles, photos, or messages that violate these terms, our guidelines, or applicable law.
7. Third-party links and communication
Once you connect with another member, any subsequent conversations, exchanges of contact details, or meetings are between you and them. Kodava Matrimony is not a party to those interactions and does not vouch for outcomes.
8. No warranty
Kodava Matrimony is provided on an as-is basis. We do not guarantee a match, a specific level of activity from other members, uninterrupted uptime, or particular outcomes. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kodava Matrimony's total liability arising out of or in connection with your use of the service is limited to the amount you have paid to Kodava Matrimony in the twelve months preceding the event that gave rise to the claim.
10. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced by email and inside the app at least seven days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
